Recapture of U.E.S.S. deRuyter

You knew it was going to get bad, but you had not expected this. You remember the briefing word for word:

" All right people, listen up. You're probably wondering where we're going. It's safe to tell you now: we're going to recapture the deRuyter.
" Yes, you thought it was destroyed by the Pfhor. That's what we told everyone. The attack was quite unexpected, so we needed some time to decide what to do. Three days seems like long enough. We've managed to contain the Pfhor to the deRuyter by jamming all outgoing teleporters.
" First some background on the deRuyter: It was commisioned in 2450 as one of the first small attack carriers in the Doorman class. It can carry sixteen Retaliator fighter spacecraft plus four Avenger personnel droppers. There are six hangars, three to each side of the ship. Living quarters are in the center of the ship.
" At the time of the Pfhor attack, the deRuyter was docked for a complete overhaul. Most of its systems were outdated, so it was getting new airlocks, new AIs, new elevators, in short: the works. We don't know why the Pfhor targeted the deRuyter. My guess is that they made a simple mistake and should have attacked another ship docked on the opposite side of the spaceport. On the outside they look quite the same, except that the other ship has been modified already and is fully operational.
" Now, sixteen hours ago we sent in a team of Pathfinders for reconnaissance. Those that returned told us some not-so-nice things. The Pfhor have apparently learned a bit from their experience on the Marathon and the other ships they have attacked since then. They have sabotaged a number of doors, some by cutting off electric power, others by jamming them. Same goes for elevators. We don't know if they managed to mess up anything else except for one thing. The enemy managed to lock onto our battle supply teleporters. They can now intercept the stuff we send, so the Pathfinders found themselves without ammo. There's a warning for you: bullets are going to be scarce. Don't rely on ample resupplies because we cannot promise to send any. We'll try though. Another warning: One of the Pathfinders was last heard of near a TeePee. We don't know what happened to him. Maybe it had nothing to do with the TeePee, but I still advise you not to use them.
" So there you have it. Captain Shimonaga will take thirty-one marines in at the front, Captain Wilson will take thirty-one in at the back. Fifteen minutes behind you will be another sixty-four men, so make sure you've cleared the hangars by then. The objective is to clear the deRuyter of all bugs. When you're done, report back in Hangar 1. You'll be picked up from there and we'll send you over to your next assignment.
" Good luck. Oh, I almost forgot: according to the work schedule, some of the airlocks should still be of the old type. Those are a bit less safe than the ones you're probably used to. So take care."

And you can still hear the screams of your pals who were picked off in their assault pods, of those that were hit in the hangar, of those who were too near the supply canisters when the 'Shooters' destroyed them. You remember dropping your Spanker after scaling the elevator in Hangar 1. You don't know how many other marines survived. And you just hope you still remember the layout of the ship.

"All right, let's see. Need to find some bigger gun nearby"
